PROBLEMS ABOUT THE WHEEL

  1. The wheel rolls down slightly on an inclined plane. Since the movement of the wheel is accompanied by energy losses at the point of contact with the plane, even in the absence of air resistance, the wheel, starting from a certain moment, will roll evenly. It follows that the force R with which the plane acts on the wheel must be directed upward and equal to the gravitational force P. But then the force R will be created by a turning moment relative to the center O, and therefore the wheel will not rotate uniformly, but rather accelerated.

Deal with the contradiction.
